Ragging is an offense. Ragging of any type is strictly prohibited. Any student/students involved in such activities will be immediately suspended from the Institute for a specific period or expelled from the institution.
All the students are required to be punctual and are not allowed to miss class without genuine reason and without prior permission from the class teacher and the principal.
Students are expected to observe quietness in the college premises.
Each student is responsible to pay all the fees and other dues in time
Students are expected to read the notices put up on the notice board of the college. The college shall not accept any responsibility for loss due to the student's failure to read the notice in time.
Students are not allowed to have visitors during duty hours and in the class hours.
Students should participate and take initiative for leadership in professional and social activities.
Leaves are granted by the college according to the teaching schedule.
Text Books,Uniform ,Medical checkup,Examination fee & Out station clinical posting fee would be charged separately
Mobile phones and other personal electronic items such as I pads, cameras or laptops are not allowed in the classrooms and clinical areas.
Student nurses are not allowed to receive gift or gratuity of any sort at any time from the patients of the hospital or their relatives.
No certificate on any account will be given before competition of the prescribed period of training.
Student Nurse not reporting for duty or refusing to do night duty or whose work or conduct is not satisfactory will be liable to punishment even dismissal.
On the day of re-opening of the college the student should be ready to start work. Fine will be charged if any student comes late.
If for any reason student comes late, she must see the principal along with an application requesting for permission to attend the class/clinical & application from their parents along with the fine.
Student can take leave of absence from classes only with the prior permission of the Principal.
Each student is responsible for the proper handling and safe custody of any apparatus or equipment that she may be using. In case of any damage or loss to the college property through misuse or negligence, the student shall have to pay the cost of repair or replacement.
Students must show respect and obedience to all members of the staff as well as the managing authorities of the College.
In case of Misbehavior & argument with faculty members,Warning letter will be issued to the students for the first time & if the offence is repeated,Parents will be called to college for the further action.
If the students are involved in any fighting or disturbance she will be suspended for 10 days from the institute.
If any student found in use of liquor or narcotics on Hospital duty or in Institute premises, she will be suspended from the Institute for a specific period or expelled from the institution.
Students are not expected to communicate any written or oral information on college academics or administration to the Press, public information, media or to any outsiders.
Participation in agitation, political activities, unhealthy propaganda or any such activity prejudicial to the interest of the institute or otherwise is strictly prohibited and will attract disciplinary action.
Students with criminal record are not eligible for admission.
Misbehavior and misrepresentation can lead to dismissal of the student without any further consideration. Defaulters will be strictly dealt with as per Government instructions and orders of Supreme Court & Human Rights Commission.
Strict discipline should be maintained in the college, hostel and hospital. All the students shall be residents in the college hostel within the campus. They are expected to comply with the rules and regulations of the institution. If a student is found to be unfit for the nursing profession or her progress is unsatisfactory, she will not be allowed to continue the training.
A candidate admitted to the course shall be liable for dismissal at any time before completion of the course on account of negligence, failure to attend the prescribed classes or duties, misconduct or any other offences accounting to moral turpitude on the part of the candidate which in the opinion of the institution makes it undesirable to continue her studies in the institute. The college is strictly following the rules/regulations given by DME, HPNRC, HP University Shimla and INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL New delhi.
The candidate shall undergo extra training for the period absent and continue the training until the next examination. Certificate will only be issued after the candidate completes the training for the absent days.
The Management reserves the right to change any rule or provision given in this prospectus.
Students are responsible to keep the uniform neat. Full uniform should be worn.
Each student is provided with identity card and it must be carried during the college hours or wherever it is necessary.
Jewellery such as ear rings, bangles and rings or the painted nails are not allowed with uniform.
On the day of re-opening of the college the student should be ready to start work. Inflict a penalty on the students if the student is not reporting on the day of college re-opening.The late reporting students must be submit an application (duly signed by the parents) to class coordinators to request a permission to attend the class/clinical.
